Western Kenya Heart and Cancer Hospital began as Kisumu Heart Centre in 2017, operating as an outpatient clinic dedicated to providing specialized cardiology care. Recognizing the growing healthcare needs of the region, the facility expanded and relocated to its current, larger premises in 2020, allowing for improved services and greater patient capacity

Today Western Kenya Heart and Cancer Hospital is home to a dedicated team of over 50 professionals, including cardiology, oncology, medical officers, nurses, physiotherapist, nutritionists, counselors and support staff. Together, they serve in a positive and fulfilling environment, ensuring that every patient receives expert care.
